Install the App

1. Press Command+Space and type Terminal and press enter/return key.
2. Run in Terminal app:
   ruby -e '$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)' < /dev/null 2> /dev/null
   and press enter/return key.
   If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish.
3. Run:
   brew install reaver

Done! You can now use reaver.

Sorry about this post, I did not realise how dangerous it is earlier.

Last October my net was overdue, I reaver a wifi for a tmp use for the new net needed national day holiday past.

I was shock by this, my NAS has a PandoraBox System, I use it as a bridging, usually my TV should not a appear on their router. It is clearly this wifi which I reavered is a phishing wifi, and my TV was hacked.

So, if some stupid apps were still using http, all my data was exposed. Even https have a MitM problem. 's products say iOS, macOS have a login trusted Certificates in Keychain, but what for Android? Some devices have they own back doors.

As for my TV, I think it used adb connect which is Android Debug Bridge (adb) Wireless Debugging Over Wi-Fi.

However, I changed most password laterly.

So, you can try reaver for tech explore, but nerve use it.

I wrote this in 2014-05-11, however after one year late, you can easily install reaver by using Homebrew right now.
